Monthly Owner Statement

The most common report, showing:

Income Section

  • Rent collected

  • Current balance due

All figures are calculated automatically from your Rentigo data.

Generating Reports

Navigate to Reports

Go to Analytics → Owner Reports.

Select Property

Choose the managed property or owner.

Choose Period

Select the reporting period (month, quarter, or custom).

Generate

Click Generate Report.

Review

Preview the report and make any adjustments.

Export or Send

Download as PDF or email directly to the owner.

Report Customization

Including/Excluding Items

You can customize what appears:

Sending Reports

Email Delivery

Send reports directly from Rentigo:

  1. Generate the report
  2. Click Email to Owner
  3. Add a personal message (optional)
  4. Send

The owner receives a PDF attachment with your message.

Download for Manual Distribution

For other delivery methods:

  1. Generate the report
  2. Click Download PDF
  3. Send via your preferred method

Report Schedule

Set up automatic report generation:

Go to Settings

Navigate to Settings → Report Schedule.

Select Properties

Choose which properties to include.

Set Frequency

Choose monthly, quarterly, or custom.

Configure Delivery

Set whether to auto-email or just generate.

Save

Save the schedule.

Automatic reports are generated on the 1st of each month for the previous period.

Understanding the Numbers

Rent Collection

Shows rent actually collected, not just due. This reflects real cash flow.

Management Fees

Your fees are itemized so owners see exactly what they're paying for.

Maintenance Costs

Each expense is listed with date, description, and amount.

Net Due

The final amount you owe (or are owed by) the owner.

Historical Reports

Access past reports anytime:

  1. Go to Analytics → Owner Reports
  2. Click History
  3. Filter by property, owner, or date
  4. View or re-download any past report

Best Practices

  1. Send consistently - Same time each month builds trust
  2. Include explanations - Add notes for unusual items
  3. Be transparent - Show all income and expenses
